We are delighted to announce that the 8th French-Japanese Workshop on Diamond Electronic Devices will be held in Noboribetsu Onsen, Hokkaido, Japan, from December 14 to 17, 2026. It is a great pleasure to continue this long-standing workshop series and to welcome researchers from Japan, France, and beyond to its eighth edition. Noboribetsu is one of Japan’s most impressive hot spring areas, known for its dramatic volcanic landscape, steaming valleys, and rich natural scenery. The powerful atmosphere of Jigokudani, or “Hell Valley,” together with the calm hospitality of the onsen town, provides a unique setting for scientific discussion, collaboration, and exchange. We hope this workshop will offer not only an opportunity to share the latest progress in diamond electronic devices, but also a memorable experience in one of Hokkaido’s most distinctive destinations.
